DOB is estimated to be Aug 2015. First trapped from a large feral colony on Jan 13, 2018 and returned to colony Jan 19, 2018 after neuter. Trapped again Nov 19, 2021 in need of medical care. Starting to enjoy being petted and show interest in toys.
Mitch is easy to exam and handle without sedation IF his face is completely covered. He feels least vulnerable if there is a hand supporting his bum (so he can't scoot backwards) and his face is kept fully covered other than the parts being examined.
You are welcome to use the towel provided and cut holes as necessary to access ears, mouth, etc. without uncovering his face.
If his face is uncovered, he is likely to have a fear response and panic. He is not aggressive, just scared and wanting to survive.
Once he's healthy, our plan is to find him an excellent adopter who will love him for everything he has survived and provide the ongoing care he needs. Thank you SO much for helping him get one step closer to feeling better.
