Story:
Like most feral cats, Enara hasn't had it easy. We've wanted to trap her for the last year, but she was too smart and too skittish, and managed to evade our traps again and again. We watched her get pregnant at least four times last year. We know she lost at least one entire litter shortly after they were born, likely to a predator or tom cat. We never saw her come to the feeding station with kittens, so we don't know what happened to the others. We were never able to get close enough to interact with her at the feeding station, but she has been coming there to eat since we first arrived last February. I can't tell you how giddy we all are to know Enara has had her last litter of kittens, and even more ecstatic to discover that we don't have to return her to the forest!
